*Please note that bicycles, roller skates, roller blades, scooters, skateboards or similar items are not allowed on the course.
Packet Pickup: Packet pick up for in-person entrants will be Wednesday – Friday (May 10, 11 & 12) from 9 am – 6 pm at 213 N. 29th St. (same location as previous years). Out-of-town in-person entrants can pick theirs up on Race Day from 7 – 8:30 am at the same place. All shirts for Virtual Entrants will be mailed prior to the race.
*Check your bib number to be sure you are entered in the right race.
Start Times: 5 Mile – 8:00 am 2 Mile – 9:00 am
Start Location: 2nd Avenue North between N. 24th St. and N. 25th St.
Pin your bib number on the FRONT of the clothes you will be wearing at the Finish. You must have the right bib number to be in the race. The timing “chip” is attached to the back of the bib number. Your time will start when you cross the Start mat, and it will end when you cross the Finish mat.
5 Mile Start: Fastest runners line up at the front. Strollers, children, and walkers cannot start at the front for fear of being knocked over by the faster runners. Strollers line up in the designated area on N. 26th St. Everyone will enter the Start Area from the back. Sidewalks will be fenced off from the street.
Bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards, smoking, pets, and headphones will NOT be permitted on the course. Our insurance, RRCA, and USATF do not allow headphones in races.
This is for everyone’s safety.
2 Mile Start: There will be 2 corrals. Corral #1 is reserved for those finishing the race in 20 minutes or less. All others line up in Corral #2, west of N. 25th Street. 2-Milers must stay on the sidewalks or side streets until all 5-Milers have passed. All participants must enter the Start area from the back. Strollers line up in the designated area on N. 26th Street.
In the 5 Mile, All those who have not reached Division Street on 3rd Ave. N. by 9:40 am will be turned down Division Street to 2nd Ave. N. to continue to the Finish Line, and will not receive an official Finish Time.
We recommend that you arrive downtown early; give yourselves plenty of time to find a parking place and to walk to the Start. Many roads will be closed starting at 6 am. Parking on the streets is free on the weekends. Park either north of 3rd Ave. N, or south of 1st Ave. N.
Crossing guards will be at most intersections; however, you still need to watch for cars.
Water stations will be located approximately at:
1) On 2nd Ave. N. at N. 12th St.
2) On 3rd Ave. N. at N. 17th St.
3) On 3rd Ave. N. at N. 26th St.
4) On Yellowstone Ave. at about 6th St. W.
5) On 2nd Ave. No. across from the Babcock Theater, after the Finish.
After crossing the Finish Line, continue on through the Finish Area until you get to Skypoint, where the refreshments and awards ceremony are located. Please do not linger near the Finish Line after you finish.
The Montana Women’s Run will also offer a Virtual Race option. We encourage those that cannot be in Billings to join us virtually!
